Mr. Guhl brings over 23 years of oil & gas industry experience starting in operations at the field level with Magin Energy and moving progressively into supervisory positions at Crescent Point Energy, TUSK Energy and Orlen Upstream Canada.

 

Willie was first introduced to the AESL Optimization Processes when Earl Hickok, as TUSK Energy’s President implemented the AESL Business Operating System to TUSK operations in 2005. Willie came to TUSK as a senior foreman from an acquisition and was elevated to the role of Production Superintendent for the Clair & Conroy operations until TUSK’s sale to a large US Pension Fund in 2009.

 

In his leadership role in TUSK, Willie adopted the TOP-TEN Process, the Integrated Field Review Process (IFR) and the Cost and Production Optimization Processes on his assets and became a believer in the AESL Business Operating System. Willie continued to expand his Project Management experience and since the sale of TUSK, he has continued to be an Advisor to AESL working on selected operational engagements with the AESL integrated operating team.
